What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a gentle process which curls your natural lashes.  This can give the illusion of longer and thicker lashes.

How does it work?

A specially shaped silicon shield is placed on your upper eyelid.  Your lashes are then gently placed on the shield and adhered using an eye safe gentle adhesive.  Once your lashes are fixed in place a solution is applied to the lashes which will relax them getting them ready to be set.  After 6-8 minutes this solution is removed and a second solution is applied which will set your lashes in the curl created by the silicon shield.  This solution is removed after 5-7 minutes.

Once this process is completed a complimentary lash tint is applied.

Once the tint has been removed a keratin conditioning treatment is applied and the process is complete.

How long does it take?

The whole process takes approximately 45 minutes.

How long does a lash lift last?

A lash lift will typically last between 6-10 weeks depending on you own lash cycle.  (Lashes have a cycle of between 6-10 weeks where they fall out and regrow.)

Is there any aftercare?

The great thing about a lash lift is they are virtually maintenance free.  For the first 48 hours you do have to be a bit gentle with them as they are still setting.  No swimming, steam or heat for 48 hours, don’t rub them. No mascara or lash serums for 48 hours.  After 48 hours, they are maintenance free. It is a good idea to use a lash serum or lash conditioner after a lash lift to keep them conditioned as you would a hair conditioner after a treatment.

Who can’t have a lash lift?

Unfortunately if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you are unable to have a lash lift.  If you have an active eye infection ie conjunctivitis, cataracts, glaucoma. If you have hypersensitive eyes or excessively watery eyes it can affect the lash lift process.  You must remove your contact lenses before a lash lift if you wear them.

What is the cost of a lash lift?

A lash lift is $80 and includes a complimentary lash tint
