What is Dermal Infusion and how does it work?
Dermal infusion is a treatment that uses low voltage electrical currents to create micro channels in the skin. This enables serums to defuse deep into the dermis. The electrical current also makes the cell walls permeable which allows the serums to move into the cells where they are able to work their magic.
With a regular facial only 10% of the serums actually get utilised however, with a dermal infusion skin treatment it increases to 90%!
Does it hurt?
Not at all. It is actually a very pleasant and relaxing treatment. As the handpiece moves over the skin you may feel a slight tingle and that is it. The handpiece is warm and as it passes over the skin it is infusing the custom serum deep into the skin.
